PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

Dear School Community,

The first three weeks have passed in this final term of the year. There are a few things I would like to share with you.

This term, we have started with a full range of sporting activities which the students benefit from greatly. Interschool Sports was held in the first week. We had our annual Athletics Day and Lapathon on October 19th. I would like to thank all the participants, teachers and the volunteering parents for their support. I am confident that these activities provide an opportunity for our students to show their talents and improve certain skills and values such as taking responsibility, working as a team and communication.

We had organised our annual Book Fair with Scholastic for the last week. The aim was to make the students read a variety of books of their choice. I would like to thank the organising committee for their contribution to the book fair. I hope the students who purchased books are enjoying reading them.

Today is Australian Teachers’ Day. Taking this opportunity, I would like to thank teachers at our campus and all the teachers around the world for their dedication and enthusiasm as teachers are working hard to raise generations so that they will make this world a better place to live in. I would like to share a video clip prepared by Sirius College.

Lastly, I would like to remind you of the Awards Night and Grade 6 Graduation Ceremony. It will take place at the Eastbank Center and the invitation letters were distributed last week. The program starts with dinner and followed by students’ performances and Grade 6 graduation. Please go through the letter and make your bookings accordingly. I am looking forward to seeing you there.

Regards,
Mr. Adem Engin
Principal
